Boun-T asked:

Is VGA video only or does it also carry audio? Is it HD? Do you need microsoft’s XBOX VGA cable to play XBOX 360 HD on a new HP LCD monitor so that it is HD?

Is there a way to make my own cable that will allow me to connect a video output (regular single cable video that a vcr or the first xbox has; not the hi-def component cables ) to my flat screen? Any sites that give tutorials?

Dec G asked:

The component video cable (i think it is called), is the one with the standard red, white and yellow AV jacks, and it has another three, which are red, green and blue. This is the only cable I have for my Xbox. If I was to plug this into an HDTV, would it give a proper HD output? Or would I need another cable like a HDMI or VGA?

I have a universal s-video cable that connects to everything from n64 to xbox 360, and one of the outputs connects to the s-video port in my laptop. But when I connect the cable to the laptop, with the other end in the video game, nothing happens. Is this impossible to do, or is there something I can install so this can work?
